A microcement-constructed table is made using a high-performance cement-based coating that is hand-applied in layers to create a seamless, durable surface. Known for its contemporary, industrial-inspired aesthetic, microcement offers the look of polished concrete without the weight. It is highly resistant to stains, scratches, and everyday wear, making it ideal for both residential and commercial use. Each Hugo Dining Table is hand-finished in micro-cement, a material celebrated for its organic texture and artisanal character. As a result, the surface is not perfectly smooth or uniform. Subtle mottling, light tonal variation and gentle undulation are natural features of the finish and form part of the table’s design. These nuances are intentional and should be appreciated as part of the handcrafted aesthetic, making every piece uniquely individual.
