MICRO CEMENT
Your Abide Interiors Micro Cement (or Micro Cemento as it is commonly known in Europe) product features a very fine coating of cement combined with fine aggregates mixed with water based liquid polymers. Whilst it is a sturdy and durable finish, specific care requirements will ensure your product looks like new for many years to come.
TEAK WOOD (OUTDOOR)
Abide Interiors’ Outdoor Teak products are hand-crafted from high-grade solid Teak wood to withstand the harsh Australian elements. High-grade Teak wood contains a high-oil content which provides a natural lubricant to assist in the prevention of cracking and splitting. Your Outdoor Teak wood products feature a fine sanded, raw finish. If necessary, our fine-sanded finish products can be refinished with Golden Care Teak Protector which is available on our website. This product helps to protect the wood and assists in maintaining an “as new” finish.
TEAK WOOD (INDOOR)
Your Teak wood products feature either a fine sanded finish or is finished with a matt clear coat. Products finished with matt clear should not require further treatment in the short-term future. If necessary, our fine-sanded finish products can be refinished with Golden Care Teak Shield which is available on our website. This product helps to protect the wood from staining. This finish has the advantage that stains do not penetrate the wood as easily. This is no foolproof guarantee against stains. In case of a spill, remove it immediately.
WHITE CEDAR/ MINDI WOOD
Your White Cedar/Mindi wood product features either a stained finish or is finished with a matt clear coat. These finishes should last you for years to come. These finishes help to protect the wood from staining and have the advantages that stains do not penetrate the wood as easily. This is no foolproof guarantee against stains. In case of a spill, remove it immediately.
AMERICAN OAK
Your American Oak furniture is finished with 2 coats of Osmo Poly X Raw, a pigmented hard wax oil. This finish gives the furniture its desired natural colour and has the advantage that stains do not penetrate the wood as easily. This is no foolproof guarantee against stains. In case of a spill, remove it immediately.

Outdoor furniture cushions are made from specific materials to ensure that they can cope with environmental factors like rain, sun and dust. Like anything there are a variety of options and different fabrics offering different advantages. We choose to use Sunbrella.
Sunbrella – A high performance outdoor fabric used extensively worldwide in the outdoor furniture and marine industries as well as for awnings and umbrellas. Sunbrella is what is known as a “solution dyed” material.
